The Structural Frame
One thing I learned about the structural frame is that there is no such thing as an ideal structure; each organization needs to respond to its own set of processes (Bolman & Deal, 2021). An organization's structure includes the organization's hierarchy, the division of labor, and the set of rules that everyone abides by. This structure can take on many forms, and few companies organize themselves the same. The structure is created over time and finely tuned to ensure that the organization is achieving its strategic objectives.

Reflection
Organizations need structure if they are going to work. This means creating a structure that meets the communication needs and can achieve the company’s goals and objectives. There has to be some form of division of work, and structuring the organization outlines this. I didn't realize that organizations in similar fields can structure their organizations completely differently. Tech companies like Google, Microsoft, and Apple all have different organizational structures even though they all reside within the tech industry.
